Through our contracted carriers, SET IMO provides agents and advisors with access to multiple life insurance products –both permanent life and term life – for your clients.
SET IMO also has a dedicated website at Term Life Champions, which consists of a portal with training, carrier information and sales resources to help in selling term life insurance to your clients. You will need a login and password to access this website.
Remember, a life insurance policy can replace a client’s lost income, pay for a home mortgage or other debts, cover funeral and burial costs, provide an education, support their retirement income needs, cover estate taxes, or even become a donation to their favorite charity organization.

Proprietary Whole Life Product
Lafayette Life has partnered with SET IMO to create a unique, single premium whole life insurance product called Academy Whole Life. This whole life product features a return of premium provision that could help give your clients’ peace of mind should their needs change.
Academy Whole Life features an enhanced income payout option with a persistency bonus to help supplement retirement income. This exclusive product is available only to SET IMO-licensed agents and advisors.
One special feature of Academy Whole Life involves the optional Level Premium Paid-Up Additions (LPUA) Rider, which could give clients the ability to fund a policy with a single premium – and purchase additional paid-up insurance to enhance the value of the policy.

Resource Portal
SET IMO has a dedicated website to support our affiliated agents and help them to sell life insurance products. To get you started, our online contracting link can connect you to multiple top-rated life insurance carriers within the industry and streamline the appointment process.
Once contracted, our SET IMO portal provides a term quote engine for life insurance quotes through iPipeline. This quote engine also is mobile-friendly from most handheld devices including mobile phones and tablets. You can run custom illustrations based on your client’s background and even compare pricing, coverage and potential income riders.

- Overall, self-reported life insurance ownership rose from 50 percent in 2022 to 52 percent in 2023.*
- The majority of Gen Z has now aged into the Barometer Study sample and are showing interest in life insurance. While self-reported ownership remains low at 40 percent, half report a need-gap (49 percent), which suggests an early awareness for life insurance products.*
